Welcome to Happy Tails Animal Rescue
Happy Tails Animal Rescue of Washington County, VA is a not- for- profit organization dedicated to the rescue of animals from the harm of abuse, neglect, abandonment, and unnecessary euthanasia and to the placement of animals with rescue organizations or adopters.
We support and promote spaying and neutering of all cats and dogs to help control the pet overpopulation and promote education of the public about responsible pet ownership. Members of Happy Tails have been practicing animal rescue since 2002 and over 6,000 animals have been saved at this time.

HTAR needs you to volunteer! Join us to learn how you can help. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, 7pm at the Washington County Public Library.
